The Motel Room 10/27/15 by Richabri (Rick Bridenbaker) [email removed] http://www.cgbytes.com/content-artists/Richabri/126 Thank you for purchasing the The Motel Room for Poser! All of this product's content was created by Richabri. =============================================================================== Description: =============================================================================== The Motel Room is an 20-piece (PP2) prop set replicating a vintage motel room that would be found in a 1950's styled American motor lodge. This is a complete set that coms with a modular wall design snd also features all the furniture and fixtures needed for any motel room scene. The Motel Room also comes with a PZ3 file that will load in the complete set with a default lighting scheme and all render parameters set to go. You will need Poser 5 (or higher) or Daz Studio to use this set. The Motel Room includes everything you need to set up a motel scene including: Props (PP2): ==================== !Ceiling !Floor !Wall-Back !Wall-Bath !Wall-Front !Wall-Left !Wall-Right Bath Fixtures Bed Cabinet Chair Lamp Night Stand Phone Pillow T-Rack TV Table Wall Mirror Wall Picture Everything comes as Poser ready props that can be loaded from the content palette under the Props section or for even easier use, load the PZ3 scene file that will load in the props with a default lighting rig. The Motel Room also comes with all of the texture templates to allow you to give the props a custom look of your own design. ============================================================================= Notes: =============================================================================== All doors have their joint parameters adjusted to swing open from the hinges with a normal Y-Rotation. There are no limits to the swing however so you should be careful to control the final position of the door(s) being opened. The default lighting scheme uses four infinite lights with only the 'Main' light having the ability to create shadows and the other three providing fill and accent lighting. Although this lighting rig provides a fairly balanced lighting of the complete interior I highly recommend adjusting it for any specific scenes you may create if you choose to use it. Most of the time, that will usually only involve using a Y-Rotation of the Main light and/or an X-Rotation of the Ambient light. All of the props have their shadow casting ability turned off so you may wish to switch it back on for whatever props you'd like to cast shadows by selecting the prop(s) and going to Object - Properties from the Poser menu and clicking the Cast Shadows checkbox. The Motel Room building and furniture props are very lightweight meshes while the Bath Fixture props are considerably larger. The upshot being, that if you don't have your scene set to use the Bath Fixtures, you can exclude them from your render to decrease the overall size of your scene file and the conserve the resources of the computer making the render. =============================================================================== To install: Unzip the archive (MotelRoom.zip) to the root folder wherever you installed Poser: (i.e., C:\Program Files\Smith Micro\Poser 8).
