The Backyard Patio Set 05/11/2023 by Richabri (Rick Bridenbaker) rjbridenbaker@gmail.com =============================================================================== All of this product's content was created by Richabri. =============================================================================== Thank you for purchasing the Backyard Patio set :) =============================================================================== Description: =============================================================================== The Backyard Patio is a set of twenty-five props replicating a backyard patio setting complete with building, furniture and grounds props. The completely modular design of the set allows you to use only those elements that you need for your scene. Separate movable (removable) set elements and (Sun Room) walls makes it easy to set up and navigate your scene. The gate doors rotate open from their hinge areas with a normal Y-Rotation. The 'Swing' prop bench rotates back and forth with a normal X-Rotation as does the 'Kettle Grill' top. Complete and functional, the BY-Patio set is easy to use and will perform well for any of your backyard patio renders! The Backyard Patio set comes with the following props in PP2 format: !!!!Terrain !!!Grounds !!Deck !!Shelter !!Sun Room !Fence-Front !Fence-Left !Fence-Right Flowerbox Lantern Lemon Tree Palm Tree SUN ROOM: !Sun Room SR-Base SR-Roof SR-Wall_Back SR-Wall_Front SR-Wall_Left SR-Wall_Right FURNITURE: Firepit Kettle Grill Lounge Chair P-Chair01 P-Chair02 Patio Table Swing =============================================================================== Everything comes as Poser Ready props that can be loaded from the category menu or for even easier use - just load the included PZ3 file which has all of the props loaded with a default lighting scheme. The Backyard Patio set also comes with all the texture templates to allow you to give the set elements a custom look of your own design. You will need Poser 5 (or higher) or Daz Studio to use these props. ============================================================================= NOTES: LIGHTING: ========== The lighting scheme uses five lights: four Infinite lights and one Point light for the !!Sun Room interior. Only the 'Main' Infinite light has the ability to create shadows and the other three Infinite lights provide fill and ambient lighting. The lighting preset was provided to give a general illumination of this set. It should be adequate for most scenes but I highly recommend adjusting it for any specific scenes you may create if you choose to use it. POSER'S GROUND PLANE: ===================== The set loads in with the patio area being the ground plane and center of the set. You need to turn off Poser's Ground Plane to prevent it from blocking the lower portion of the set (the backyard) while rendering. You can do by going to: Display -> Guides -> Ground Plane and turning it off. PLACING PROPS IN THE BACKYARD: ============================== All of the set's props will load on the center of the patio area which is above the backyard area. Load the prop in that you want to use and use a Y-TRANS of about -10 to drop it to the same level as the backyard and then reposition it. =============================================================================== To install: Unzip the archive (BY-Patio.zip) to the root folder wherever you installed Poser: (i.e., C:\Program Files\Smith Micro\Poser 8).
