Beginner's instructions for the use of dynamic clothing --- This pack contains a dynamic clothing prop for V4. The clothing automatically parents to V4's hip when loaded, so that you may move her around in the scene without having to adjust the parameters on the clothing prop. You may use this clothing for a V4 character of any size or shape, not just Demeter. - Load your V4 base to the scene and use the deafult pose she loads in at frame 1. DO NOT ADD ANY MORPHS OR POSES YET! If you want to add a conforming hair object or any conforming clothing, it's time to do so now. - Load the clothing prop in Poser from Libraries / Props / Demeter V4 / The clothing should load smartpropped to V4 and there should be no poke-through while the figure is zeroed. - Go to frame 20 and apply the desired pose and morph to your character. After posing, add (10 or more) frames to let the clothing "relax" after the pose has been applied. In the cloth room: - Set simulation range from 1 to 30 (or as many frames as you've got) and check the "Cloth self-collision" box - Clothify: Choose the clothing prop - Collide against V4 and any potential conforming figures (set "collision offset" and "collision depth" to 0.700;) "Start draping from zero pose" and "ignore head collision" should be checked to save time. If your characters hands or feet do not interact with the clothing, you may also check "ignore hands/feet collision" as well. Dynamic Controls that I use for this clothing: - Fold resistance : 2.00 - Shear resistance : 15.00 - Stretch resistance: 55.00 - Cloth density: 0.06 Leave the rest at the default values Before you start calculating the simulation, it's best to save your work, since Poser has a tendency to crash. Note: If you make any changes to the pose or morph after the simulation has calculated, you will need to calculate it all over again.
