The Bays and Snack Shack pack has 3 unique new large facade walls featuring bay style doors of various sizes and a "Snack Shack" or business front facade. There is additional sign and lamp figures plus some figures and props to create a cool snack shack snack bar facade. This Facade pack is a companion product to the other "Facades" Street Level Exterior Packs availabe at daz3d and CGbytes.com Facade Pack # 1 "Industrial Pack" Facade Pack # 2 "The Basics Pack" Facade Pakc # 4 "Commercial Pack" Facade Pack # 3 "Residential Pack" Facade Pack # 5 "Bays and Snack shack Pack" Facade Pack # 6 "Rotica Facades" (available at www.renderotica.com in the davo store) The Bays and Snack Shack Pack is an expansion to the other packages. Use a zip file utility to extract the contents of this zip file. Make sure the "use folder names" option is checked. Place the contents into the path that your poser.exe file is located, for example: c:/program files/Curious Labs/Poser 5 (do not include "runtime") Do not include "runtime" in the path you specify, the zip file will automatically place the files in the runtime folder structure if you have the use folder names optiones checked. The files will be placed in your characters library under the following names: Facades SnackShack (this folder contains the snack shack prop figures only, the assembled version is in the Bays folder) Facades Bays (this folder contains the normal facade figures) DAZ STUDIO USERS: This package is created for Poser 5, 6, 7 and above. It can be used in Daz Studio, however, you will have to manually adjust some material properties for the ambient lit materials which include: Street Lamps Display screens and buttons Signs screens Neon light and any other ambient lit materials. You will need to change the Diffuse and reflection color values from black to white. Look at the advertising promo images for reference as to what should be ambient lit. Description of elements: Facade Bays folder: 3rd wall 2 Full & Half - This a 2 story high simple wall that is as wide as a standard exterior facade (the half figure is half the width). This figure is meant to be used as a 3rd story and up wall section if you wish to create a higher than 2 story building. Assembly 1 - Street front set with 2 style 2 exterior doors with a snack shack in between. Assembly 2 - An alcove style street scene with a style 1 wall flanked by 2 style 2 exteriors. There is a snack shack on the street corner. Assembly 3 - A style 2 exterior with interior walls created from the 3rd wall full figure. Bay 3 Seat - this is an adjustable stool that can be added to the bay 3 exterior wall. Parent it to the foot rail near the bottom of the bay 3 wall. There is an assembly with the seats already parented along with the snack shack. Bldg Lamp 4 - This is a wall mounted building lamp with posable arm and 2 posable lamp heads. You can parent this to any wall surface. Column 1 (Bay) - This is a divider column featuring 2 access doors, posable fan at the top and ladder to second level. Dividers can be used to break up a scene and add interest. Column 7 (Basic) - This is a generic column that is available in all the Facades Packs. This column is used to attach signs / banners and other prop figures to it. CORNER MODULES AS DESCRIBED BELOW ARE IN EACH PACKAGE. Corner Module 1 - This corner module has 2 posable flanges that can be angle adjusted to allow an outside corner look of any angle. Place this corner module at the end of your standard facade when you want to turn a corner. Corner Module 2 - This is a large circular corner module that also allows you to have an any-angle corner. This column is divided into 8 segments that can be turned off if you want to incorporate an interior scene. This will prevent any of the column from showing into a window. This corner module also provides a large corner radius for the sidewalk. Corner Module 3 - This corner module is a sidewalk only figure. It has a smaller corner radius. It should be used in conjunction with corner module 1. Corner Module 4 - This corner module is used for an inside corner if you want to have 2 facades bend like an elbow. Ground Plane 1 - This is a large asphalt textured ground plane you can stack side by side to create a street surface. Null base - The null base figure is a non-rendering, diamond shaped figure that sits close to the ground plane. The null base is used as the base or parent object that you will want to parent your figures to if you are creating a scene or assembly you'd like to save back to the library. All the provided assemblies in the Facades packages use the null base system for parenting. Street Post 1 - This is a street sign with ambient lit bus schedule and street names. The arms on the signs can be rotated to any angle. Util Assem 2 (util 1) - This is the generic column with the utility prop 1 parented to it. Utility Prop 1 - This is a pipe prop with valve handle at the bottom. You can attach this to any surface. Wall Bay 1 - This is a bay wall with 2 levels of doors. All 4 door segments are posable. You can use this wall as a bay door for tall vehicles or figures. It also can serve as a divider wall between different sectors on your scenes. Sidewalk, first floor and second floor can be hidden as needed. Wall Bay 2 - This is a bay wall with a 1 story door that can move up and down. Sidewalk, first floor and second floor can be hidden as needed. Wall Bay 3 - This is a door wall with the intent of being a store front that opens onto the sidewalk. This is good for things like snack bars or soup kitchen scenes, it can also be used a bank style exterior. The billboar/sign overhang figure slides up and down to cover the first floor level. When the overhand is in the down position, the second story has a set of 3 lamps that can rotate out to light the street. Sidewalk, first floor and second floor can be hidden as needed. Wall Bay 3 Assem - This is the Bay 3 wall with the snack shack setup already parented and assembled. Wall Generic - This is a generic standard facade wall that is available in all the facades packages. The top floor, bottom floor and sidewalk can be hidden. The generic wall can be used as filler facades between the standard facades. FACADES SNACKSHACK folder: These figures are props for the snack shack. There is a pre-assembled shack in the Facade Bays folder. Bottle Holder - This is a rack with 3 bottles in it. Bottle Single - This is a single bottle Cash Register - This is a digital register to ring up orders and bills. The reader and post is posable. Cup Holder - This is a figure with metalic tubes for holding cups. Cup Single - This is a cup by itself with the snack shack logo Drink Disperser - This is a digital readout drink dispenser for dispensing fluids, mixing, whatever you want. Plate Stack - A stack of parented plates Plate - A single plate Snack Shack Assem and Snack Shack - The shack in various stages of construction. You probably don't want to use these as there is a fully pre-assembled shack in the Facade Bays folder.
