Thank you for purchasing the BodyWear Textures and Helmet Pack from CGbytes.com. To unzip the files, please use a program such as winzip from winzip.com for the PC. For the MAC, the latest version of Stuffit from stuffit.com will work with both the MAC and PC. With your zip extraction utility, please extract the files (with the "use folder names" option checked) to your Poser program location, up to, but not including "runtime". The file will then be extracted to your hard drive under the standard "runtime" heirarchy. This texture and helmet pack includes 2 new helmets figures with multiple texture schemes, 5 textures schemes for the Millenium 3 unimesh figures (works on Michael 3, Vicky 3, Stephanie Petite, Aiko, The Freak, David and any other unimesh characters) and 5 textures for the TreadZ boots by The3dwizard (not included) The textures are applied via material pose files for the body textures and TreadZboots. Material Pose files are included for both helmets as well as figure library files for the helmets with textures already applied. Extract the contents of this zip file with your extraction program. Be sure the "use folder names" feature is selected. The extraction path will be the location of your poser 4/5/6 execution file. For example: C:/Program Files/Metacreations/Poser 4 Do not include "runtime" in your extraction path, the files will automatically go to the correct runtime structure. Figure Libraries: Bodywear Pose Libraries: Bodywear. The helmets are in the Figure Library "Bodywear". Helmet 1 is static with no moving parts, Helmet 2 has a posable visor and posable face mask that can be hidden if desired. Both helmets must be "parented" to your characters head, they are not conforming. The bodywear material poses are in the Pose Library "Bodywear". 1. Import your unimesh character (Mike 3, Poser 3, The freak, etc) into your scene. Set up your character as you desire "before" you apply the Bodywear textures. This will be the skin/head textures you want your characters to have. 2. Click on your character anywhere, not on some other clothing article, but on the unimesh itself. 2. Apply the "Bodywear" uniform texture you wish to apply. The hands and head textures will not be affected by the bodywear texture. 3. If you want matching gloves, there are matching glove mat pose files in the Bodywear pose library. If you own the TreadZ boots by The3dwizard (sold separately at daz3d.com), you can use the mat pose files supplied, otherwise, you will have to provide your own boots. There are mat pose files for the helmets supplied as well. Note: The textures supplied are Hi-Resolution. If you want to use your characters as background people, you can resample or resize the textures down in your paint program. This will help increase rendering speed. Be sure to keep a set of original backup textures in a safe location. That's it, clean and simple. I hope this texture and helmet pack is usefull for you in your renders and artwork.
