For example: c:/program files/curious labs/poser 5 Do not include "runtime" in the extraction path, it is already specified in the zip file. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The files will be extracted to: Figures/Characters library: Davo / Breaking Glass / This contains all the glass figures Props: Davo / Breaking Glass / This contains a smart prop frame that can fit around the panes of glass. Poses: Davo / Breaking Glass / This contains 2 sub folders and a material pose file that hides the edges of the glass shards Davo / Breaking Glass / Style 1 Poses : This contains breaking glass poses in various stages of breaking Davo / Breaking Glass / Style 3 Poses : This contains breaking glass poses in various stages of breaking ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Features: Falling Glass: This is a figure of scattered pieces of glass shards that are in a falling motion. You can add as many to a scene as you'd like. Flat Glass: This is a flat plane of glass shards that are lying on the ground. Add as many as you wish. Glass Style 1: This is a single pane of glass with shards of glass breaking from the center in a spiderweb design. The glass shards are parented to each other begining from the outer edge toward the center. Pose files are provided that show the glass breaking in various stages. There is a small wireframe sphere shown in the center of the glass plane, it sits a little behind the pane of glass. This is the base node that you can use to move the glass figure around. It does not render nor cast shadows. Glass Style 2: This is the same design as style 1, however, this is a single figure, no individual shards. There is a magnet attached to this figure. You can push and pull the magnet and it will bulge and distort the glass fragments for a cool effect. Glass Style 3: This is a pane of glass with two fragmenting holes in the glass, sort of like bullet holes. Each hole as a spider web design and like the Style 1 glass, each shard is parented from the outter edge toward the center. There is pose files in the pose library for various stages of the glass breaking. Glass Style 4: This figure has broken shards of glass that hang from the top and point upward from the bottom. The central plate of broken glass can be removed and individual shards can be moved as well. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Props: In the props folder there is a simple window frame that is a smart prop. Select your figure and apply the prop depending on which style of glass you are using. The frame will snap to your figure automatically and parent automatically. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Poses: Pose library contains some poses of the glass breaking in various stages for both the style 1 and style 3 glass figures. A material pose file is provided that will make the edges of the glass invisible so it can appear unbroken. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- RAYTRACING: Raytrace properties have been built into the material zones on these figures. In order to take advantage of raytracing in Poser, you will have to 'enable' raytracing in the render properties settings. I suggest a minimum of 2 raytrace bounces. More bounces will slow down rendering times. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please enjoy and have fun with this product.
