Thank you for purchasing the Armor Shard II weapons and body skinz textures at CGbytes.com. Use a zip file utility to extract the contents of this zip file. Make sure the "use folder names" option is checked. Place the contents into the path that your poser.exe file is located, for example: c:/program files/Curious Labs/Poser 5 (do not include "runtime") Do not include "runtime" in the path you specify, the zip file will automatically place the files in the runtime folder structure if you have the use folder names optiones checked. When extracted the files will be placed in the following folders: Figures: Armor Shard II (these are the weapons and headgear) Pose: Armor Shard II: Body-Weapon Poses (these are the weapons and matching poses for M4 and V4) M4 Body Skinz (these are material pose files to apply the red, green and shard body skin textures to M4) M4 Body Skinz (these are material pose files to apply the red, green and shard body skin textures to V4) Weapon Skinz (these are material pose files to apply the DarkMetal and Green textures to weapons and headgear) Source files: /runtime/geometries/powerfusion3d/weapons /runtime/textures/davo/m4bodyskins /runtime/textures/davo/v4bodyskins The body skinz are designed to apply directly to your M4 or V4 characters body, no clothing items or apperal is needed. Follow these easy steps: 1. load your character 2. Apply your characters head and body textures as you want them. 3. Apply the Armor Shard Body Skinz after you have applied the head and body textures for your character. 4. To do this simply go to the pose library, choose Armor Shard II and then the M4 or V4 folder as needed, then chose your body skinz texture. 5. The textures will be applied to all body parts EXCEPT for all body parts from the neck and up. The weapon and headgear material pose files are applied the same way, load your weapon (DarkMetal is the default texture), browse to the pose library Armor Shard II then go to the subfolder Weapon Skinz and chose your theme. Be sure you have selected or clicked on the weapon first. I have provided a base pose file for each weapon and a matching pose file for M4 of V4. If you want to use the pose files, follow the following steps: 1. Set up your M4 or V4 character first. Add the head gear from the Figures/Armor Shard II library, parent the headgear to your characters head. 2. Load the weapon you wish to use. 3. Go to the pose library/Armor Shard II and subfolder / Body-Weapons folder. 4. Click on your character, then apply the *V4 or *M4 pose. This will set your character in a base posed position. 5. Click on your weapon, then apply the M4 or V4 Gun * Base Pose. This will set the weapon. 6. Now parent the weapon (menu Figure/Change Parent command) to the right hand of your character. 7. Now you may adjust/manipulate your characters pose further. The weapons: Big Gun 1 - This is a huge, shoulder mounted multi-purpose weapon. I shoots whatever the hell you want it to shoot, plus it has a side mounted mini-gun. All parts of the gun are posable / re-positionable to fit your characters better. If you use limits, the parts I felt should have limits have limits set. All other parts are fully articulated in all directions. Big Gun 2 - This is a personal carried mini-gun. The shield can be hidden if desired. The handle mount and trigger assembly is fully posable and re-positionable. If you use limits, the parts I felt should have limits have limits set. All other parts are fully articulated in all directions. Big Gun 3 - This is tripple barrelled hand gun... I mean cannon.. The trigger, hammer, charging handle and discharge cover are posable. These also have limits if you use limits. I don't use limits, if you want them, turn on the "use limits" button under the menu Figures/Use Limits. Big Gun 4 - This is a multi-purpose gun with the original intent of being a spear gun/grappling hook gun. The gun has a posable trigger, grip, butt/stock, secondary handle and charging handle. If you use limits, the parts I felt should have limits have limits set. All other parts are fully articulated in all directions. There is also a spear/hook figure attached to the gun, you can remove it if you want. The flanges of the spear spread out if you want to use it as a grapping hook. There is no cable or wire for the hook. You can post work a cable after rendering if you wish. Thanks again for your purchase from CGbytes.com. Cheers, Davo
