   Victoria 4 - Weightmapped skin shader readme

Thank you for downloading this texture set and skin shader for Victoria 4 - WM. The shader incorporates the latest in subsurface scattering technology as introduced in Poser 9 and Poser Pro 2012. This shader was developed in matmatic, a Python Scripting tool that allows you to write scripts which, when compiled, make shaders to be used in Poser. Bagginsbill not only wrote matmatic but has also developed a lot of the core concepts this shader uses, the latest of which he calls the "Baggins Max Scatter Trick".

This shader was developed specifically for Victoria4-WM and for the PoserPlace V4-WM team. We at PoserPlace hope you enjoy using this shader.

  How to Use The Shader/Textures
  
1. Unzip this file
2. Copy Runtime to your designated runtime
3. Turn Eyebrows on. The "Eyebrows On/Off" pose files can be found in your Pose Library \ V4WM \ Brows folder
4. Load the shader. The shader can be found in your Materials Library \ V4WM folder
When you render, be sure to turn Subsurface Scattering checkbox on in Render Settings -> manual settings.

Note: The use of the shader and skin textures are optional to using V4-WM: she will work with any skin and shader set you have for V4.

  Terms of use

This shader can be used in all commercial and non-commercial renders. The only restriction is that you cannot claim any part of the shader or texture set as your own or re-distribute any part of it. The shader (the file contained in the Material Library) may be used with your own texture sets.
